シンプルシリーズから遊んでいる地球防衛軍ファンとしては気になる情報です。地球防衛軍5とは開発は別で製作中のEDFがあるもよう。昔出た海外版のやつの続編的なものかな？

『EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN』と題され、デザインなども従来のウルトラ警備隊っぽいものからハイテクな感じになっています。

ちょっと洋ゲーチックですがモデリングが進化している感じも見受けられる。

TGSに出展するようです。

今後も情報を追っていきたいと思います。
